Two of Turkey's most photographed landscapes in one long day: the turquoise water of Salda Lake and the snow-white terraces of Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Salda Lake
We pick you up very early from your hotel; breakfast is served on the way. First stop is Salda Lake, often called the 'Turkish Maldives' for its white shores and turquoise, crystal-clear water. Enjoy the view, walk on the shore and, in season, swim.
Hierapolis and the travertines
At Pamukkale you have lunch, then explore the ancient city of Hierapolis with your guide, including its impressive Roman theatre. The group then splits: some guests relax at the thermal pools, others walk barefoot over the dazzling calcium travertines with their warm mineral water – everyone meets again on the terraces.
On the way back there is a dinner stop in the town of Korkuteli before you arrive in Alanya late at night.
Good to know
This is a long day of about 18–20 hours, mostly by comfortable coach. Bring your passport or ID. Swimming in the Antique (Cleopatra) Pool is paid separately.
