We leave your hotel early in the morning, with a breakfast stop near Antalya. In Demre you visit the Church of St. Nicholas, where the bishop who inspired Santa Claus served and was buried. Close by lies Myra, famous for its Lycian rock-cut tombs on the cliff face and its well-preserved Roman theatre.
After lunch you board a boat at Üçağız/Demre for a 2-hour cruise around Kekova Island. Glide over the walls and stairways of the Sunken City, half submerged after ancient earthquakes, and stop in a sheltered bay to swim in crystal-clear water. You return to Alanya in the evening.
A long day of about 14 hours. Diving and snorkelling over the Sunken City are forbidden – the ruins are viewed from the boat. Site entrance fees and breakfast are paid separately.
