The Family Buggy Safari is one of the most popular off-road adventures in Alanya, because the whole family can ride together in the same vehicle. Dirt tracks, river crossings and pine forests in the Taurus foothills make it a day the kids will talk about for a long time.

How many people fit in one buggy?

Each family buggy has one driver and up to three passengers – four people in total. If your group is bigger, simply add a second driver: two buggies carry up to eight people (2 drivers + 6 passengers). The booking form checks this for you, so you cannot accidentally book too many passengers for one buggy.

Who can drive?

• Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
• Passengers can join from the age of 2.
• A short safety briefing is given before departure, and the guide leads the convoy the whole way.

Session times

In the main season (mid-April to mid-November) there are usually three departures a day: 09:30, 14:30 and 16:30. In winter the tour runs once a day at 14:30. The morning and late-afternoon sessions are the coolest in summer.

What to bring

• Clothes you do not mind getting dusty or muddy
• Closed shoes, sunglasses and a scarf or buff for the dust
• Sun cream and a bottle of water
• A change of clothes for the ride back
